Jane // Senior

I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
and put their trust in him.
— Psalm 40:1-3

You can't meet Jane without noticing her smile.

 She is so vibrantly alive and so full of joy that it overflows to everyone around her! As her sister, I watched her grow up and I saw her battle with depression firsthand, but if you met her today you would only see the after effects...

She views her times of darkness only as something that makes her truly appreciate the light -- and so that is what she does. She has an unbridled appreciation for life and light and beauty, and lives every day to share that with others. I've included just a few of her favorite verses and quotes to give you a glimpse into her heart as I share these photos!

I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.

Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, ‘Talitha kum!’ (which translated means, ‘Little girl, I say to you, get up!’).
— Mark 5:41 (NASB)
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
— John 8:36 (ESV)
For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.
