I first met Tony and Liz back in July to talk about their sweet Fall wedding, and I loved them right away! Their love for each other was evident from the moment we sat down to chat over coffee at Fox in the Snow Cafe. They told me all about their plans for their upcoming wedding, and shared their uniquely adorable proposal story. First time I have ever laughed at a proposal story!! Tony surprised Liz so much that she just walked away -- like shut the door and left the apartment! Too cute. (Actually, I lied: I laugh at my own proposal story because when my then-fiance went to put the ring on, I stuck out both hands because I couldn't for the life of me remember which hand the engagement ring went on! Proposal shock is real!)
Tony and Liz decided to have engagement photos taken even though their wedding date is quickly approaching, and I'm so glad they did! We visited Inniswood Metro Gardens on a gorgeous July evening to capture this special stage in their relationship, before they become husband and wife. My hope is that they will be able to treasure these photos for years to come, and look back on this time after they've been married for years and remember all of the special little things that were different about when they were "just dating." Or is that just me?
These two have such a comfortable, easy way with each other -- filled with the sarcasm of two people who are best friends, and the softness of two people who are madly in love. I'll be honest, going through their engagement photos while listening to a sweet love song made me tear up, and made me love my job as a photographer even more. I'm so excited to celebrate their wedding this October!
